Safari Zone Instructions

Steps: You get eight. Every path you take costs one, no matter what you find along it. Some things you find out there give a step back, and some take one.
Paths: Each stop offers three ways on: left, forward and right. Every path shows where it leads and what you can hear from it.
Depth: Every path takes you one stop deeper into the Safari, whichever way you turn. The deeper you are, the rarer what lives there, and the quicker it runs. The near end is safe and ordinary. The good finds are further in than is comfortable.
Balls and Bait: You start with ten Safari Balls and two Safari Bait, and the walk hands out more along the way. Bait makes the next throw more likely to hold, one per throw, and it does not stack.
Leaving: Deep enough in, a path will show daylight. Take it and you walk out on your own terms with everything you caught. Otherwise the visit ends when your last step is spent, or when your last Safari Ball is gone. Either way you keep every Pokémon you caught.

Climb as many floors as you can with your Daycare Pokémon. Every trainer faces the exact same opponents this week, so it's a fair race to see who gets furthest. Lose a battle and your run ends there, the Spire resets with new opponents next week.
